Finally I'm kinda a fiend for refresh rate, so I was looking for something at 120 or 144 hz. 17 inch at 1440p means I'll probably use the secondary monitor as my primary monitor when I have a desk available, so that's a significant improvement. The 1080p monitor on my laptop feels a bit cramped compared to my 4k desktop, so I wanted to find a happy medium with 1440p. My laptop is 15 inches, and I'd like something a little larger, so I'm looking for a 17.3 inch monitor (even though having a second 15 inch might be significantly easier to travel with, since it fits in my laptop bag). ![]() Figured you might be interested in my findings. Apparently portable laptop monitors have come into their own in the last year or so though, so I decided to do a little research. ![]() One of the things I like least about working from my laptop is the lack of screen real estate. I'm planning to become a digital nomad in April. ![]()
